meet the CAST
Hina Ayub
Hina is a motivated and compassionate daughter, sister, and activist. She is currently A.B.D. in her pursuit of a Ph.D. in Physics. She is in her 10th year of running marathons and being vegan, and has recently ventured into the world of triathlons. Her theater experience consists of The Vagina Monologues in 2005, 2006, and now in 2010. Her hobbies include training for marathons and triathlons, yoga, Pilates, cooking, and advocating veganism. She's also a huge fan of The X-Files and knows that the truth is out there... somewhere.
Mimi Carter
Mimi is a singer, a student, a wife, and the mother of two beautiful, talented women. She has recently returned to the U.S. She lived in South East Asia for 8 years. While overseas she performed on stages in Thailand and the Philippines. She also served as the Executive Director for the MMQ Theatre- Philippines, a non-profit arts for charity organization. MMQ Theatre's mission is to raise funds and awareness for women and children's charities through out the Phillippines.
Sherri L. Jones
Sherri is a confident, serious, emotional, creative woman, and a proud parent, sister, daughter and friend. Sherri enjoys working with young children. She's a director, teacher and a strong leader. Born and raised in New Haven, CT, Sherri is a true lover of the arts. Sherri has taken professional classes at Wooly Mammoth, The Theater Lab and private classes with Vera Katz. Sherri is excited to be a part of The Vagina Monolouges. Thanks to Candis and Diane for all their help.

Bora Mpinja
Bora is a kind and gentle spirit, but she is also opinionated, strong-willed and a fierce human rights advocate. She was born in the state of Washington, raised in Oregon and Arizona, and now currently resides in Silver Spring, MD. During the day she works as an analyst for the Department of Health and Human Services. At night she enjoys theatre, African Dance, Zumba, reading, writing, and drinking fine wine. She recently completed a Master’s degree in mass communication and media studies from Howard University.
D. Ohlandt
D is a professional, emotional, strong, organized woman, who is a daughter, a sister, and a wife, a teacher, a poet, and a musician. She was privileged to grow up in a family where women's rights were taught early and reinforced often. D is a relatively new resident in the DC area, having moved to northern Alexandria from the Chicago area in May 2009. She has long been involved in theatre and is enjoying this opportunity to remember what it is like to be a performer. Her hobbies include reading, camping, playing cards, and adoring her two cats.
Jennifer Rhorer
Jennifer is a statistician. She enjoys reading and dancing around her apartment in her pajamas. She hopes to grow old with the same grace, good humor, and independence as her mother, grandmothers, and greatgrandmothers.
Jennifer Summers
Jennifer is a kind, hilarious, sassy woman, who is a daughter, a sister, a passion parties consultant, and a burlesque dancer. She was born and raised in Alexandria and currently resides in Arlington, where she lives with her cat, Aurora. She spent a lot of time acting and singing when she was younger, and she's thrilled to be performing on the big stage again. Her hobbies include decorating, traveling, and cooking.

Libby Wiebel
Libby is a strong, liberal, and independent woman who spends her time programming computers, teaching piano lessons, and performing locally as a folk singer and songwriter. For the last ten years, she has been active in prevention efforts and raising awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault. Libby enjoys knitting and swimming (though not at the same time) and is probably the one you've heard whistling down the hallway. She is honored to be sharing this experience with such a creative, caring, and fun group of women.
